the fish I demolished into pieces.
exhausted from football
Today I went to my physiology lecture and decided not to go for a run instead. I had too much work so I went back to the library to continue working. Anthony met me there and we did homework together before my Prac. I got some stuff done which was good. In my Marine Birds and Mammals Prac, we learned how to figure out the diet of animals and received three different types of fish in order to understand how to take data on the fish. We had to measure and weigh it. Once that was done, the head had to be cut off and we had to fish around in the brain region for these things called otoliths. These are basically the ear bones in a fish and they must be measured (once found). My partner hates fish so I had to massacre it, and was very unsuccessful in finding the otoliths. I got out early and left to get food and find Anthony in the library again. I couldn’t find him and the printer wasn’t working so I left to go back home. He arrived shortly after and got ready to go play football. We drove with his friends to an outdoor facility for playing soccer and he paid to play in the this competition every Tuesday for 16 games. His teammates and himself are all Croatian blood so they had a uniform that resembled the Croatian team colours. The boy's team won and I was happy for it to be over because of one kid's screaming from the other team the entire time. When everyone was changing I met a little old man who was Italian and he told me all about the Romans and Italy and the influence of Latin across the world. Once everyone was ready, we left and got home to make some dinner (around 10 pm). After dinner and some conversation, I surprised Anthony with a root beer float. Root beer is very hard to come by in Australia and he thought it was awesome. Bringing America to Australia!
