October 23-26: Projects and Reports

This week I went to the zoo for our Marine Birds and Mammals prac. I had to conduct a study on the animal of choice (CA sea lion). We tested dive time vs breaths after each dive to see if there was a correlation.
I also had a presentation in my Animal Behaviour class on Bird Courtship Behaviour. All we have is one more prac report to type up for each prac class and then no more reports!
Friday night I went to my friends house to hang for a BBQ and a get-together.

October 22nd: Way too Hot up North

This morning Danielle and I got up early to check out and then walked around the city for a bit. We were grateful every little soveinier shop was just far enough to get to from the other in the heat. we finally decided to head back to the hostel and we got lunch and I sat in the pool for an hour. It was nice but it was so hot and the sun was so strong that even after an hour my shoulders were red! We changed and then caught the shuttle to the airport and 2 hours later our flight left. The flight didn't feel as long because they played a movie and the news and served dinner. The sunset in the sky on the plane was amazing!!! I've never seen such a beautiful sunset and these pictures do not do it justice.

Once home, I went over to wish Bel a happy birthday and have a little BBQ. It was nice to go away, but I was happy to be back and with my normal group of friends.
