August 26th: Shower Explosion

This morning I woke up abruptly to the knowledge that my shower had been running for about 3 or 4 hours. I opened the bathroom door and water that had condensated on the ceiling was dripping all over me. I went to go turn the knob off on the shower and it still wouldn’t budge but then (I guess the water pressure had built up so much) the knob flew off the wall and water was shooting out from the hole in the wall. I freaked out and ran down to the Admin building to get a RAs number. They came immediately and we had to shut off the main water. So for the whole day we did not have any water in the house. It was not a fun experience.

Also, running back from the Admin building I saw a HUGE snake coming out from one of the walls outside but I was in too much of a rush to stop and look at it. Everyone I told that to was shocked there are snakes in the Village. haha- better watch our toes now
