August 2nd: Calling Home

This morning I had my Marine Birds and Mammals class and then had a set time afterwards to call home. When I called home, I had forgotten that Papa was off playing horseshoes and wasn’t able to talk to me. Mama and I talked for over an hour and we finally caught up for the first time since talking when I was in Fiji. It was nice to call home and I need to set a weekly time that I can do that with family. After calling home, I went to my first lecture on developmental psychology. After I came home to cook and take it easy till the night time. Thursdays here are big nights at Ubar. Once night time came around and dinner was done, friends of the boys came over and chilled out before going to Ubar. I was going to go meet my friends at their house instead of go to Ubar so once there we walked Danny’s place and just hung out with a group of people. When I got home Anthony and Mal came running out and told me to follow. We ran over to some house of their friends and they snuck in and took his roast chicken. Then we made a feast!! We made so much food: chicken, bacon, pizza, rice and garlic bread. Kray cooked for us but fell asleep before the food was ready so we drew on his face and ate all the food like pigs. Afterwards, at around 4 in the morning, we went to bed. It was a good night.
