My room is already gross. So with my new cleaning supplies I have decided to do a clean. Cleaning the bathroom was a bit of work but it looks a lot better. I also took off the screen in my window to wash off the bird poop that was there from when I first arrived. It looks so much better looking out the window and not looking at bird poop.
April, my best friend from home and I have been trying to
find a way that we can text through some sort of free service for international
numbers since I have left for Fiji. We finally figured out that we could both
down load Viber, an app for smart phones. She plugged in my number and I got
her text. I was so utterly happy I almost started crying. The boys were
laughing at me because all I could do was laugh and run around saying “FINALLLYYYYYYY!”
It feels so good to finally talk to her even though the time difference still
remains. This was the highlight of my day, even my week. Calling home is nice
but I’ve really missed my best friend and it was starting to really get me
down. I cannot explain how happy I am about this.
The boys were going to play football and I finished up
cleaning my room and organizing my desk and headed down to watch. They play a
good game and I enjoy watching them. There was a little boy of three and a half
and he was playing football with one of the men that wasn’t playing and he was
so good! He was such a cute thing to watch and I was all smiles; the boys were
telling me to man up. Dinner was a mix of meat soup with rice and potatoes. Danielle
and I hung out for a bit of the night and then we both went to bed early.
